Hello and welcome to my website.  It was time to update my website and I have been dragged kicking and screaming into Google sites.  Life is always an adventure.

It's just in time for the new book I'm writing.  My first book was a memoir, and I appreciate the support of all my readers who have come along on this journey with me.  My next venture is fiction.  My internet friends will love it because some of them inspired the story.  The story is about an internet relationship that goes all wrong, and leads the lovers on an adventure across continents where other internet friends live.  When the friends around the world get involved in solving a mystery and averting disaster, they all learn that internet friends are more than faces on a screen.

Imagine you gave a baby up for adoption forty years ago, and after years of trying to find her, she finds you.  Now come the hard questions.  She's healthy, beautiful, and successful, but she wants to know why you gave her away and why you didn't marry her father. And there is also the unspoken question of "What kind of black woman gives her baby away?" How do you explain to her that giving her away was the best gift you could offer?
